Transforming Leadership was founded in December 1998 by Rev Dr John Howell, and the membership of The Board consists of men and women with esteemed backgrounds in business and education.
For a number of years after Transforming Leadership was formed, Dr Howell contracted out his services to lecture in leadership at a number of tertiary academic institutions and is serving as a director on the boards of other charities.
In more recent years, and with the support of The Board, Dr Howell supplemented his lecturing by developing Transforming Leadership as a foundation.
One hundred percent of donors' funds raised are regularly transferred to the designated projects without any administrative overhead deducted. The cost of administration is covered through lecturing, seminars, consultations and sales, as well as designated administrative gifts to Transforming Leadership.
